Paint.NET 3.5 Beta
One of the best free image editors for Windows is Paint.NET, its user interface is intuitive, with support for layers, you may opt unlimited undo, special effects and also a variety of tools that have made it become one of the user’s favorite editor.
The project developers have announced the beta version of Paint.NET 3.5, you can download it here.
The minimum system requirements are:
* Windows 7 (recommended), but also works on Windows XP SP2, Windows Vista or Windows Server (2003 SP1 or later).
* NET Framework 3.5 SP1 (download it for free from Microsoft).
* The screen resolution 1024 x 768.
* 200 + MB of hard disk space.
* Requires 64-bit mode on CPU and a 64-bit edition of Windows.
Paint.NET was born in 2004 as a senior design project in computer engineering by a team from Washington State University for Microsoft Windows with the aim of replacing Paint that comes bundled with Windows, but has been so welcoming and in addition to having exceeded the expectations that the project was launched under the MIT license and also open source.
